In the era of astrology software, astrology mobile app and astrology website, we mostly rely on those things for astrology related calculations. But, sometimes it happens that some softwares/app (I’m saying some softwares and websites and not blaming all) may be giving some wrong calculations , due to it’s programming or even due to principle related controversy of that particular matter which we are calculating, like divisional charts like D60 and other divisional charts also. Though, there are many profound softwares available, I prefer to rely on manual calculations. And it’s a real moment of satisfaction when we calculate things by our own and according to accepted principles.
Considering this fact, I thought to make a very basic excel based calculator, which can calculate few things without internet or any updation.
Though, it is very basic and simple in nature, it won’t give any wrong calculations. (I’m preparing the best version of it, but currently publishing it as it is to get feedback and suggestions from our respected astrologers and other astro lovers)
How to use this excel based calculator?
# There are three sheets.
1. First sheet will prepare chart for you. (Though you need to enter lagna and degrees of each planet as per panchang / online panchang)
First sheet can also calculate moon sign/ nakshatra tithi and such basic things.
2. Second sheet is dedicated to calculate each planets exaltation and debilitation.
3. Third sheet can calculate the “compound planetary relationship”
### For ease of use, I have given colour code, wherein you will have to enter data in only those cells which are purple coloured. And don’t edit other cells.
### I’m not a professional astrologer, but I’m an astro lover!!! 😇
